We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our warehouse operations team. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient movement, organization, and distribution of materials and products within our facility. Your responsibilities will include handling inventory, preparing kits for assembly, and supporting the overall workflow of the warehouse. Material Handlers are essential team members in warehouses and production environments, responsible for moving products to the correct locations, packaging and wrapping items as necessary, and preparing materials for delivery or assembly. You will also be tasked with unloading incoming shipments, ensuring products are accurately placed in storage, and working with automated equipment to streamline material handling processes. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be vital in maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting efficient order fulfillment.
In this role, you will perform both physical and administrative tasks associated with warehouse operations. You will pull kits and distribute materials, parts, and supplies, prepare necessary paperwork, and inspect parts and packaging for accuracy and quality. You will be responsible for preparing kitting packages for assembly, using computers and scanners to track materials, and ensuring all materials are accurately recorded for traceability. The position requires you to stand for extended periods, adapt to changing priorities, and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
As a Material Handler, you will work closely with planners and master schedulers to resolve part discrepancies and support ongoing production needs. Your ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively is essential, as you will interact with various departments and team members daily.
