The Market Medical Director (MD/DO, Primary Care) will serve as a role model for clinical excellence and professional integrity, mentoring and coaching a team of providers across several clinics. This position involves both administrative oversight and, where necessary, hands-on patient care to ensure consistent, outstanding clinical outcomes. The Market Medical Director (MD/DO, Primary Care) is expected to collaborate closely with the corporate team, VPs of operations, and other market leaders to integrate best practices, support new clinic openings, and drive organizational initiatives that enhance patient engagement, optimize workflow efficiencies, and support sustainable growth.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and coach primary care providers to ensure delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care
- Oversee clinical operations and collaborate with VPs of operations across all clinics in the market
- Participate in direct patient care as needed, particularly during clinic start-ups or when filling temporary gaps
- Support network development, specialty referrals, documentation, and accurate coding
- Drive quality improvement initiatives including HEDIS measures and utilization management
- Contribute to transitional care, case management, clinical compliance, and policy development
- Engage patients and support community outreach efforts
- Foster a collaborative clinic culture focused on continuous improvement and patient outcomes
- Provide input and leadership for organization-wide strategic initiatives
- Assist with opening new clinics and ensuring smooth operational launches

Qualifications & Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine (IM), Family Medicine (FM), or Geriatrics preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in value-based care (VBC) or managed care setting preferred
- Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, and lead clinical teams
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to travel within the market as needed
