The Market Medical Director (MD/DO, Primary Care) will serve as a role model for clinical excellence and professional integrity, mentoring and coaching a team of providers across several clinics. This position involves both administrative oversight and, where necessary, hands-on patient care to ensure consistent, outstanding clinical outcomes. Physicians in this role will be responsible for setting the standard for quality primary care, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and facilitating ongoing professional development for their teams. The Market Medical Director (MD/DO, Primary Care) will be involved in network development, specialty referrals, documentation, coding accuracy, quality improvement initiatives such as HEDIS measures, utilization management, transitional care, case management, clinical compliance, policy development, patient engagement, and community outreach initiatives.
