Manufacturing Team Lead Job OverviewCoast is seeking a dedicated and experienced Manufacturing Team Lead for a full-time position. As a Manufacturing Team Lead, you will play a key role in overseeing daily production operations, ensuring safety compliance, and guiding team members to achieve departmental objectives. This position is essential for maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient manufacturing environment and requires effective leadership and strong organizational skills. Responsibilities- Maintain a clean and organized working environment, adhering to company standards for safety and cleanliness throughout the production area.
- Support and manage designated work shifts, ensuring all team members are aligned with operational requirements.
- Oversee and verify the completion of daily inspections, providing training to employees as needed to ensure full compliance with company policies.
- Complete and review all necessary production paperwork and documentation with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Identify safety hazards, unsafe conditions, or unsafe acts through regular safety audits and initiatives; recommend and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Supervise the packaging and shipping processes for assemblies, ensuring quality standards are consistently met.
- Document and maintain accurate records of all relevant production information and activities.
- Promote and enforce safe maintenance practices among subordinates, fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
- Collaborate with management to ensure organizational goals and operational needs are consistently met.
- Effectively communicate and lead at all levels within the organization, demonstrating flexibility in leadership style to motivate and develop team members.
- Set individual targets for team members in alignment with departmental objectives, corporate strategy, and business needs, fostering growth and achievement within the team.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a team lead or supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise, direct, and coach individuals responsible for picking, cleaning, processing, or packing products.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety protocols, and documentation requirements.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Operational experience in a manufacturing or production setting is required.
- Ability to communicate effectively and lead teams at various organizational levels.

- Shifts available: First Shift (6AM-2:45PM) and Second Shift (4:45PM-1:30AM)
