Manufacturing Production Operator - Summary
- Responsible for supporting daily production operations in a glass manufacturing facility
- Performs a range of tasks including cutting, tempering, fabricating, insulating, laminating, and warehousing glass products
- Ensures all work is completed in accordance with safety protocols and company policies
- Works collaboratively with team members to achieve production targets
Duties & Responsibilities
- Cut, temper, fabricate, insulate, laminate, and/or warehouse glass products as directed by supervisors
- Safely handle and move glass from tables, furnaces, rolling racks, delivery trucks, and wooden crates
- Transport glass and other materials between workstations and locations as needed to support workflow
- Read and follow detailed work instructions, labels, and picking lists to ensure accurate and efficient production
- Inspect glass products for defects such as cracks, chips, or abnormalities and report any issues immediately
- Conduct daily safety inspections, including checking equipment and identifying unsafe conditions to maintain a safe work environment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace by following all safety policies and procedures
- Complete additional duties as assigned to support overall production operations

Qualifications & Requirements
- Ability to independently lift up to 75 lbs and up to 150 lbs with team assistance
- Skilled in reading and accurately using a tape measure
- Capable of standing and working on feet for extended periods
- Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment
- Willingness to wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) consistently
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
- Basic familiarity with plant operations, computers, hoists, and lifts is preferred
- Previous experience in the glass industry is an advantage but not required
