Duties & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support manufacturing processes for new products, product changes, enhancements, and related tooling and fixtures, ensuring alignment with zero-defect objectives and low product cost.
- Coordinate closely with Engineering, Quality Assurance, and R&D functions to maintain accurate documentation of processes, manufacturing procedures, material records, design concepts, tool/fixture drawings, and shop orders.
- Provide expert troubleshooting and technical assistance to production departments to resolve manufacturing challenges and optimize efficiency.
- Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities to enhance the overall competitiveness and profitability of manufacturing operations.
- Collaborate with engineering product development staff to ensure that products under development achieve optimal manufacturability and address any manufacturing issues that arise.
- Determine methods and procedures for new assignments and offer technical guidance to lower-level personnel as needed.
- Write and maintain accurate Assembly and Manufacturing Travelers to ensure effective production workflows.
- Complete timely and accurate preventive maintenance on equipment and tooling to maximize operational reliability and performance.
- Communicate the status of work and promptly report any challenges or difficulties to relevant stakeholders.
- Train employees on new methods, tooling, and procedures for product assembly or fabrication to foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
- Support company goals, objectives, policies, procedures, good manufacturing practices, and applicable regulations at all times.
- Maintain high quality standards with minimal discrepant work and strive to meet or exceed established performance benchmarks.
- Conduct oneself in a professional, business-like, and civil manner in all workplace interactions.
- Respond productively to changes and perform other essential tasks as assigned by management.
- Maintain a working knowledge of AS9100 and ISO policies, procedures, and directives to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience in designing and developing manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixtures.
- Strong working knowledge of AS9100 and ISO quality standards and procedures.
- Ability to create and maintain detailed documentation, including process workflows, manufacturing procedures, and tooling drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience in cost reduction initiatives and operational efficiency improvements.
- Proficiency in providing training and technical guidance to production staff and lower-level personnel.
- Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
