As a Mammography Technologist (ARRT), you will be responsible for performing routine diagnostic radiology procedures with an emphasis on mammography, ensuring both patient safety and high-quality imaging. Mammography Technologist (ARRT) - Summary- Perform routine diagnostic and mammography radiology procedures in a clinical healthcare setting.
- Operate advanced imaging equipment and ensure high-quality image capture for diagnostic purposes.
- Support the mission of providing care for service members, veterans, and their families.
- Maintain compliance with facility policies and industry standards for safety and quality.
- Prepare and position patients for mammography and diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Operate and calibrate imaging equipment according to manufacturer and facility protocols.
- Process and submit digital images in a timely manner for radiologist interpretation.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures and patient interactions, adhering to all documentation requirements.
- Conduct routine quality control tasks and system calibrations to ensure consistent imaging performance.
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions to contrast media and initiate appropriate emergency responses if necessary.
- Uphold all radiation safety policies, ensuring the protection of patients, staff, and oneself.
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions, initiating repair procedures to minimize service interruptions.

- Graduate of an academic program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).
- Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- At least one year of experience as a radiologic technologist within the last two years preferred.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Demonstrates advanced technical skills in mammography and diagnostic radiology.

- Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with a diverse patient population.
