As a Mammography Technologist (ARRT), you will be responsible for performing routine diagnostic radiology procedures with an emphasis on mammography, ensuring both patient safety and high-quality imaging. Your daily activities will include correct patient positioning, operation and calibration of advanced imaging equipment, processing digital images for radiologist review, and maintaining meticulous records following facility policies. Mammography Technologist (ARRT) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare and position patients for mammography and diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Operate and calibrate imaging equipment according to manufacturer and facility protocols.
- Process and submit digital images in a timely manner for radiologist interpretation.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures and patient interactions, adhering to all documentation requirements.
- Conduct routine quality control tasks and system calibrations to ensure consistent imaging performance.
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions to contrast media and initiate appropriate emergency responses if necessary.
- Uphold all radiation safety policies, ensuring the protection of patients, staff, and oneself.
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions, initiating repair procedures to minimize service interruptions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated and patient-centered care.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Graduate of an academic program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).
- Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- At least one year of experience as a radiologic technologist within the last two years preferred.
- U.S. citizenship required.
