The Mammography Technologist (ARRT) position involves performing routine diagnostic radiology procedures with a focus on patient safety and optimal image quality. Mammography Technologist (ARRT) - Summary
- Deliver diagnostic imaging services in alignment with Decypher's mission to support military personnel and their families.
- Operate and maintain radiologic equipment while ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Focus on patient-centered care and accurate image acquisition for radiologist evaluation.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform routine diagnostic radiology and mammography procedures.
- Adhere to rigorous radiation safety protocols and organizational policies.
- Correctly position patients and make necessary technical adjustments for optimal imaging.
- Process and submit digital images for radiologist interpretation promptly and accurately.
- Maintain thorough and accurate records of all procedures in accordance with facility standards.
- Complete scheduled system calibrations and quality control assessments to ensure equipment functionality.
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions, initiating repair procedures as appropriate.
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions to contrast media, responding quickly to emergencies if they arise.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Graduate of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT)-accredited academic program.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- JRCERT-accredited radiologic technology program completion required.
- Minimum of one year experience as a radiologic technologist within the last two years is preferred.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
