Maintenance Technician - Summary
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical equipment in diverse environments.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, test, and repair a variety of machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, implementing corrective actions promptly.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide repairs and installations.
- Assemble and install equipment in accordance with manufacturer and client specifications.
- Perform preventive maintenance and regular equipment inspections to minimize downtime.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and efficiently.
- Provide basic training and technical support to customers to ensure proper equipment operation.
- Accurately complete service documentation and reports for all maintenance and installation activities.
- Follow all established safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Technology preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance, ideally in a manufacturing, industrial, or military setting.
- Thorough understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, including motors, wiring, and controls.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and troubleshooting equipment is essential.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows-based software applications.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license required for travel to customer sites.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
