The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for executing scheduled preventative maintenance as well as responding to emergent repair needs during production operations. This role requires a proactive individual who can quickly identify issues, troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of mechanical systems, including overhead rails, conveyor systems, and other critical components integral to our laundry production processes.

Maintenance Technician - Summary- Key role responsible for the ongoing maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of production equipment in a busy commercial laundry facility.
- Performs both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Works collaboratively within the engineering maintenance team and communicates effectively with production supervisors.

- Perform preventative maintenance activities on assigned equipment according to schedule.
- Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions, including issues with conveyor systems, overhead rail systems, and mechanical drive systems.
- Assist technical and mechanical personnel, including external vendors, as required.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs by documenting incomplete tasks and new problems as they arise.
- Notify production supervisors regarding any equipment impacting production or causing downtime, and provide updates when equipment is returned to service.
- Respond promptly to emergent repair needs, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Adhere strictly to safety procedures, including lockout/tag out, confined space entry, and working around hot equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area for yourself and team members.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the maintenance supervisor or engineering leadership.
