Maintenance Technician - Summary
- Responsible for performing scheduled and non-scheduled tasks related to equipment maintenance and repair in a commercial laundry plant.
- Ensures efficient operation of assigned equipment during production operations.
- Performs both preventive maintenance and emergent repairs as needed.
- Identifies, troubleshoots, and corrects problems such as jams, missing belts, and ironer tape issues.
- Works closely with the engineering team and seeks technical assistance when necessary.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conducts preventative maintenance activities on all assigned equipment according to schedule.
- Completes maintenance and repairs for overhead rail systems and conveyor systems in a timely and quality manner.
- Assists technical and mechanical staff, including coordination with outside vendors as required.
- Maintains accurate records by making regular entries in the maintenance log for incomplete tasks and newly identified problems.
- Communicates with production supervisors regarding equipment status, particularly when issues may impact production or cause downtime, and informs supervisors when equipment is back online.
- Performs additional responsibilities and duties as assigned by the maintenance leadership team.

Qualifications & Requirements
