The Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of equipment within a commercial laundry plant. This full-time position is responsible for performing a variety of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks to keep all assigned machinery and systems functioning efficiently. The Maintenance Technician serves as a key member of the facility’s maintenance team, performing preventive maintenance, emergent repairs, and troubleshooting issues as they arise during production operations. The Maintenance Technician must possess strong communication skills to effectively notify Production Supervisors about equipment status, especially when repairs may impact production schedules or cause downtime. Maintaining clear and accurate records in the maintenance log is essential for tracking progress and identifying recurring issues that may require further attention.

Maintenance Technician - Summary- Responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of commercial laundry plant equipment.
- Ensures operational efficiency and minimal downtime for all assigned machinery.
- Collaborates with technical staff and vendors to resolve equipment issues.
- Maintains accurate maintenance records and upholds safety standards.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities on equipment, including conveyors and overhead rail systems.

- Maintain a maintenance log, documenting incomplete tasks and newly identified problems.
- Communicate with Production Supervisors regarding the status of equipment, downtime, and completion of repairs.
- Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tag out and confined space entry protocols.
