Maintenance Technician - Summary- Responsible for performing both scheduled and emergent maintenance on commercial laundry plant equipment.
- Ensures reliable operation and minimal downtime of production machinery and systems.
- Works within a team environment to meet maintenance and production goals.

- Perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment according to schedules.
- Respond to and resolve equipment breakdowns, including troubleshooting jams, replacing belts, and repairing ironer tape.
- Assist technical and mechanical staff, including coordination with outside vendors as needed.
- Maintain detailed maintenance logs, noting incomplete tasks and newly identified issues.
- Communicate with production supervisors regarding equipment status and any factors affecting production or causing downtime.
- Uphold safety standards, including lockout/tag out and confined space entry procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area for self and colleagues.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
