We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team and support the ongoing operations of our commercial laundry facility. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing the performance of all essential machinery and equipment. This key position requires a proactive individual with proven experience in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repair within a manufacturing setting. The selected candidate will work collaboratively with team members and external partners to ensure continuous production and minimize equipment downtime.
The Maintenance Technician will be primarily responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks, ensuring that equipment operates efficiently and safely. This includes activities such as preventive maintenance, emergent repairs, and identifying and correcting issues such as jams, malfunctioning belts, or missing ironer tape. You will also maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and communicate effectively with production supervisors and other team members regarding the operational status of equipment.

Maintenance Technician - Summary- Essential member of the engineering maintenance team responsible for ensuring optimal operation of all plant equipment.
- Performs both scheduled and emergent maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime and support uninterrupted production.
- Works closely with technical teams and external vendors as necessary to resolve equipment issues.
- Maintains accurate documentation and communicates effectively with supervisors on equipment status.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities on assigned equipment, including overhead rail and conveyor systems.
- Diagnose and repair emergent equipment malfunctions, such as jams, belt issues, or missing components.
- Assist technical and mechanical team members, as well as outside vendors, with complex repairs as needed.
- Log maintenance activities, incomplete tasks, and new issues promptly and accurately.
- Notify production supervisors of any equipment issues that may impact production or cause downtime, and provide updates when equipment is restored to operation.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and organized workspace for yourself and your colleagues at all times.
- Comply with all safety procedures, including lockout/tag out, confined space entry, and working safely on hot equipment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisors or engineering leadership.
