This full-time position is responsible for performing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks to support production operations and maintain optimal equipment performance. Maintenance Technician - Summary- Responsible for all scheduled and emergent maintenance tasks within a commercial laundry plant.
- Supports production operations by ensuring all assigned equipment is operating efficiently and safely.
- Collaborates with engineering teams and outside vendors as needed to resolve technical issues.
- Maintains accurate records of maintenance activities and communicates effectively with supervisors.
- Perform preventive maintenance activities on equipment according to schedule.
- Complete timely and high-quality repairs on overhead rail systems and conveyor systems.
- Assist technical and mechanical personnel, including external vendors, as required.
- Maintain detailed maintenance logs by recording incomplete tasks and identifying new problems.
- Notify Production Supervisors of equipment status that may impact production or cause downtime, and report when equipment is back online.
- Identify and resolve equipment issues such as jams, bad or missing belts, and missing ironer tape.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall plant operations.
