Maintenance Technician - Summary
- Responsible for the completion of all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks during assigned shift.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Safely operate tools and equipment according to established safety procedures.
- Understand and adhere to all safety protocols, including lockout/tag out and confined space entry.
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM) tasks as scheduled and assist colleagues with their PM assignments.
- Respond to production maintenance calls in a timely manner and support production supervisors with equipment-related concerns.
- Troubleshoot and repair a variety of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints as needed.
- Repair and maintain mechanical drive systems, air-operated, and hydraulic equipment.
- Utilize basic welding techniques as required.
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of industrial wiring, three-phase motor wiring, and industrial electronics.
- Apply basic knowledge of boiler operations and safety when necessary.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, documenting incomplete tasks and new problems encountered during shift.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding equipment status, downtime, and when equipment is back online.
- Demonstrate strong troubleshooting abilities to quickly diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
- Exhibit reliable attendance, punctuality, and a positive attitude, including availability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
