Maintenance Technician - Summary
- Responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on commercial laundry machinery and equipment.
- Ensures efficient operation of all assigned production equipment throughout daily operations.
- Identifies and troubleshoots equipment malfunctions, including jams, broken belts, and missing components.
- Collaborates with engineering and technical teams for complex repairs and technical support.
- Maintains clear and accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance activities on production equipment.
- Complete timely and high-quality repairs on overhead rail and conveyor systems.
- Assist technical and mechanical personnel, including external vendors, as necessary.
- Document incomplete tasks and identify new problems in the maintenance log.
- Notify production supervisors about equipment issues that may impact operations or cause downtime, and communicate when equipment is restored to service.
- Ensure adherence to safety procedures including lockout/tag out, confined space entry, and safe handling of hot equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a manufacturing or industrial troubleshooting environment.
- Proven ability to operate tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Solid understanding of safety procedures related to equipment maintenance and repair.
- Experience with repairing and maintaining mechanical drive systems, conveyor systems, and overhead rail systems.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
