Maintenance Technician - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct scheduled inspections and preventative maintenance on all facility equipment and tools.
- Work independently to fulfill maintenance requirements and document all activities in detail.
- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks on property assets, including landscaping and groundskeeping.
- Maintain and repair facility air compressors and related pneumatic systems.
- Handle minor plumbing tasks such as repairing leaks, unclogging drains, and replacing plumbing fixtures.
- Execute minor carpentry, drywall, painting, and masonry projects as required.
- Provide sanitation support and follow proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals.
- Assist with additional projects and undertake other duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications & Requirements
- High School Diploma required.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in maintenance, preferably within manufacturing and preventative maintenance of sheet metal and machining equipment.
- Practical experience with plumbing, air compressors, water lines, pneumatic systems, and electrical work.
- Ability to climb ladders, including extension ladders up to twenty feet.
- Experience servicing computer and phone lines is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and resourcefulness.
- Consistent, punctual attendance is essential.
- Physical capability to regularly lift 50 pounds or more and participate in activities involving bending, turning, twisting, kneeling, and working on ladders.
