Mainframe Technical Lead - Summary
- Lead modernization and development of mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, and IMS.

- Lead high-level system design and modernization initiatives for mainframe applications.

- Oversee the execution of technical projects, ensuring high standards of performance, quality, and maintainability.
- Utilize z/OS, COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, IMS, REXX, SQL, and debugging tools such as Xpediter or File-Aid to resolve technical challenges.
- Work collaboratively with Agile teams to manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications.
- Identify and resolve complex production incidents, optimizing system resources and ensuring consistent uptime.
- Drive process improvements and ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational policies.

Qualifications & Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience in mainframe development, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership role.
- Expertise in mainframe technologies: z/OS, COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, IMS, REXX, SQL.
- Proficiency with debugging tools such as Xpediter or File-Aid.
- Demonstrated experience managing, mentoring, and guiding technical teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in Agile environments and manage multiple priorities.
