Mailroom Operator - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure proper functionality of conveyor systems and mail sorting equipment to maintain operational efficiency.
- Sort and prepare orders for shipping by placing them in appropriate EMM trays.
- Handle expedited orders by placing them into expedited envelopes for prompt delivery.
- Continuously review and monitor primary mail sort for any ongoing activity changes.
- Complete comprehensive mailroom audits to ensure accuracy in sorting and shipment preparation.
- Match and compile multiple quantity orders, ensuring proper labeling and readiness for shipping.
- Label packages accurately for delivery vendors and move Gaylords using a hand jack to facilitate smooth shipment processes.
- Transfer pallets upon the arrival of shipping carriers using a floor pallet jack, ensuring outgoing deliveries are managed efficiently.
- Generate and submit required mail reports and paperwork to support recordkeeping and compliance.
- Collaborate with management to identify and resolve any delivery delays and participate in other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Capable of pushing and pulling floor pallet jacks for moving mail and packages.
- Willingness to work and stand for the full duration of a 12-hour shift, as required.
