Duties & Responsibilities- Operate, set up, and program CNC mills and lathes to produce precision parts according to specifications.
- Interpret complex engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code/M-code to determine machining operations.
- Perform manual machining tasks including turning, milling, drilling, and grinding as required.
- Conduct thorough quality inspections of finished components using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments to ensure adherence to tight tolerances.
- Select, install, and adjust appropriate tooling for various machining operations, performing regular tool setup and maintenance.
- Monitor machine operations, detecting malfunctions or deviations, and making necessary adjustments to optimize performance.
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to troubleshoot issues, optimize processes, and improve manufacturing efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and quality control standards.
