Litigation Paralegal – Personal Injury Job OverviewWe are seeking a Litigation Paralegal with experience in personal injury law to join a reputable law firm in Jacksonville, FL on a full-time basis. As a key member of the legal team, the Litigation Paralegal – Personal Injury will provide essential support to attorneys handling personal injury cases, ensuring that all litigation processes are managed efficiently and effectively. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in personal injury litigation who thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive legal research to support ongoing personal injury litigation cases.
- Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and trial briefs.
- Compile, organize, and maintain evidence, ensuring all relevant materials are accessible for case preparation.
- Manage case files, calendars, and deadlines to ensure the smooth progression of each personal injury case.
- Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel to facilitate case management and resolution.
- Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, witness lists, and trial notebooks.
- Handle additional duties as assigned by supervising attorneys or firm management.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a paralegal in personal injury litigation.
- Strong legal research and writing skills, with the ability to draft clear, concise legal documents.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a proven track record of managing multiple cases simultaneously.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interactions with clients, colleagues, and court personnel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience using legal case management software.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines in a dynamic legal environment.
