Duties & Responsibilities
- Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, depositions, and other legal proceedings related to residential foreclosure and real estate matters
- Review and analyze pre- and post-judgment title issues to ensure marketable title or identify potential title issues and recommend solutions
- Draft substantive pleadings, motions, legal opinions, and memoranda for litigation matters
- Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategy and client advisement
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding foreclosure processes, legal strategies, and potential outcomes
- Develop and implement focused litigation plans to achieve efficient and ethical resolution of cases
- Manage a substantial caseload, ensuring all deadlines and billable hour requirements are met
- Maintain regular case management status reports and coordinate with paralegals and other team members
- Review and approve pre-bills for time input by attorneys or paralegals on assigned files
- Respond to discovery requests and analyze documents for potential issues

Qualifications & Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Active membership in the Massachusetts Bar in good standing
- 3-5 years of civil litigation and trial experience, preferably in residential or commercial real estate, foreclosure, and creditor rights law
- Experience handling FDCPA, RESPA, and TILA claims is highly preferred
- Admission to Rhode Island and New Hampshire Bars is a plus
- Strong knowledge of residential foreclosure process and real estate law
- Excellent courtroom appearance and advocacy skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle a large workload efficiently and effectively
- Permanent US work authorization required
