Linen Transporter - Summary
- Responsible for stocking, delivering, and organizing linen carts throughout healthcare facilities.
- Handles inventory control, including counting and recording terry/linen items.
- Collects soiled linen from all assigned areas and ensures timely delivery of clean linen.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Build and organize carts to meet set par levels for linen supply.
- Deliver clean linen to various hospital departments as scheduled.
- Collect soiled linen carts from all floors during assigned shifts.
- Take and fulfill linen orders from hospital staff promptly and accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness in the linen room by sweeping, mopping, and general upkeep.
- Open new linen for processing and prepare carts as needed for distribution.
- Align and stage linen carts according to operational needs.
- Comply with all safety procedures and universal precautions at all times.
- Report any issues related to customer service or satisfaction promptly.
- Keep company equipment clean, organized, and in good working condition.
- Maintain professional appearance and courteous attitude during all interactions.
- Clock in and out according to scheduled work times and report any absences to management as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the linen distribution team.
