Linen Transporter - Summary- Responsible for the delivery and collection of linen throughout hospital departments
- Maintains accurate inventory records and ensures linen carts are stocked to par levels
- Adheres to company policies, safety procedures, and professional appearance standards
- Operates as a vital member of the healthcare support team
- Build and stock linen carts to meet standardized par levels for each department
- Deliver clean linen to hospital departments according to established schedules
- Collect soiled linens from designated areas and transport them for processing
- Count and record inventory of terry and linen accurately
- Respond to linen requests from hospital staff and assist with order fulfillment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the linen room, including sweeping, mopping, and general upkeep
- Open new linen packages for processing as needed
- Align and stage carts for efficient distribution and collection processes
- Follow all safety protocols, universal precautions, and company procedures
- Report any customer service or operational issues promptly to management
- Maintain a professional, courteous attitude at all times
