Linen Distribution Technician - SummaryThe Linen Distribution Technician is responsible for ensuring that all departments within healthcare and hospitality facilities are consistently supplied with clean linen. This includes managing inventory levels, delivering clean linens, collecting soiled items, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. The position is integral to supporting the smooth operation of client facilities and upholding Core Linen Services' standards of quality and service.
Duties & Responsibilities- Build, stock, and maintain linen carts according to set standards and par levels
- Deliver clean linen to various facility departments in a timely and organized manner
- Collect soiled linen carts from designated areas, particularly during second shift operations
- Accurately count and record inventory of terry and linen items
- Take and fulfill linen orders from hospital or facility staff as needed
- Clean and maintain the linen room, including sweeping, mopping, and organizing supplies
- Assist with opening new linens for processing and preparing carts for distribution
- Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and universal precautions
- Maintain a professional appearance and courteous attitude at all times
- Report any issues related to customer service or satisfaction promptly to management
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support facility and team needs
