Linen Distribution Technician - Summary
- Responsible for delivering and stocking clean linen carts throughout hospital departments.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Build and maintain clean, organized linen carts to facility standards and par levels.
- Deliver fresh linen to various departments and units as scheduled or requested.
- Retrieve soiled linen carts from all floors or designated collection areas, especially during second shifts.
- Take and accurately fulfill linen orders from hospital staff in a timely manner.
- Perform routine cleaning of the linen room, including sweeping, mopping, and general tidiness.
- Open and prepare new linen for processing and distribution as needed.
- Align and stage linen carts for efficient access and delivery throughout the facility.
- Document inventory usage and report discrepancies or shortages to supervisors.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure continual supply availability for all departments.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to meet operational needs.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by facility needs.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull linen carts weighing up to 650 lbs.
