Linen Distribution Technician - Summary
- Oversees the daily operations of linen distribution and collection in a healthcare setting.
- Supports hospital staff by ensuring timely delivery and removal of linen throughout all departments.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver clean linen to all designated hospital departments according to a set schedule.
- Collect soiled linen carts from all floors, especially during the second shift.
- Take and accurately fill linen orders from hospital staff, ensuring prompt service.
- Ensure all exchange carts are consistently delivered to the correct floors to meet operational needs.
- Confirm that all soiled linens are collected and transported to the receiving dock for processing.
- Monitor the fullness of soiled carts and consolidate as necessary to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Report any issues, shortages, or concerns promptly to the supervisor to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain an organized, neat linen room by building carts to standard par levels and cleaning as needed.
- Sweep, mop, and pick up in the linen room to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Stage and align carts for efficient distribution and collection.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned to support team operations.
