As a Linen Distribution Technician, your primary focus will be to ensure that all hospital departments have the linen supplies they need, including towels, sheets, and other necessary items. Linen Distribution Technician - Summary- Responsible for the organization, stocking, and delivery of clean linens throughout the hospital.
- Collects all soiled linens from various departments for processing.
- Maintains accurate inventory records and follows established procedures for safety and infection control.
- Represents Crothall Laundry Services with professionalism and a courteous attitude.
- Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs. and pushing/pulling carts up to 650 lbs.
- Assemble, stock, and organize linen carts to meet standard par levels.
- Deliver clean linen supplies to hospital departments in a timely manner.
- Collect soiled linen from all designated areas, particularly during the second shift.
- Receive and fill linen orders requested by hospital staff.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the linen room, including sweeping and mopping as necessary.
- Open and prepare new linen for processing.
- Align and stage linen carts as required for effective operations.
- Follow all Crothall Laundry Services policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Report any customer service or satisfaction issues to the appropriate manager.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
