Linen Distribution Technician - Summary- Responsible for the timely and accurate distribution and collection of hospital linens
- Ensures all linen carts are fully stocked to meet departmental needs
- Supports the hospital staff by responding promptly to linen orders and requests
- Maintains inventory records and participates in regular inventory checks
- Upholds professional appearance and adheres to all safety and company policies
- Assemble and organize clean linen carts to meet hospital par levels
- Deliver clean linens to various hospital departments as scheduled
- Collect soiled linens from all designated areas, ensuring proper handling and transport
- Take and fulfill linen orders from hospital staff promptly and accurately
- Clean and maintain the linen storage rooms, including sweeping, mopping, and organizing supplies
- Open new linen packages and prepare items for processing and distribution
- Stage, align, and move linen carts as needed for efficient workflow
- Report any customer service issues or concerns to management immediately
- Follow all universal precautions and safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment
- Perform additional related duties as assigned to support hospital operations
