Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver clean linen to different hospital departments according to scheduled routes.
- Collect soiled linen carts from all floors, especially during second shifts.
- Take and fill linen orders requested by hospital staff efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure all exchange carts are delivered and maintained to standard par levels.
- Ensure all soiled linen is picked up and transported to the receiving dock.
- Consolidate soiled carts as needed to maximize efficiency.
- Report any issues or concerns to the supervisor promptly.
- Maintain a neat, organized linen room and perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and picking up as necessary.
- Align and stage linen carts for distribution.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
