As a Linen Distribution Technician, you will be responsible for building and stocking linen carts to established standards, delivering clean linens to various departments, and collecting soiled linens as required. Linen Distribution Technician - Summary- Responsible for the stocking, delivery, and collection of hospital linens.
- Ensures clean linens are available to all hospital departments according to set standards.
- Maintains accurate inventory records and follows hospital protocols for linen distribution and collection.
- Build and organize linen carts to meet standard par levels for various hospital departments.
- Deliver clean linens to designated departments throughout the hospital facility.
- Pick up soiled linen carts from all floors when scheduled.
- Fulfill linen orders submitted by hospital staff in a timely and professional manner.
- Clean and maintain the linen room, including sweeping, mopping, and general organization.
- Open and prepare new linens for processing and distribution.
- Align and stage carts for efficient workflow and accessibility.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
