- Responsible for delivering clean linen and collecting soiled linen from all departments
- Helps maintain a clean and organized linen room and supports hospital operations
- Critical role in the healthcare team, ensuring hygiene and operational standards are met
- Deliver clean linen to various hospital departments according to a set schedule
- Pick up soiled linen carts from all floors, particularly during second shifts
- Take and fill linen orders from hospital staff promptly and accurately
- Ensure all exchange carts are delivered and maintained at the required par level
- Transport soiled linen to the receiving dock and ensure carts are full or consolidated as needed
- Report any issues or concerns to the supervisor immediately for timely resolution
- Keep the linen room neat, organized, and clean at the end of each shift
- Build and stage clean, organized carts to meet standard requirements
- Perform cleaning duties within the linen room, including sweeping, mopping, and general tidying
- Align and stage carts for efficient workflow
- Carry out other related duties as assigned to support hospital operations
- Competitive hourly wage commensurate with experience and industry standards
- Full-time employment with a consistent shift schedule (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM)
- Health and safety requirements including an annual flu shot
