The Linen Distribution Technician is expected to build, deliver, and monitor linen carts, ensuring they are fully stocked and organized according to established standards. This includes counting and recording inventory with accuracy, transporting linen carts to various departments, and collecting soiled linen as needed. You will also be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the linen storage areas, keeping equipment in good condition, and promptly addressing any issues related to linen supply or customer satisfaction. Linen Distribution Technician - Summary- Ensures timely and efficient distribution of clean linen throughout the facility
- Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records of terry and linen materials
- Collects soiled linen and ensures proper handling according to safety protocols
- Plays a key role in supporting the hygiene and operational needs of the facility
- Adheres to company policies, dress code, and professional standards
- Build and organize linen carts to meet par level requirements
- Deliver clean linen to various facility departments according to schedule
- Pick up soiled linen carts from all designated locations as required
- Take and fulfill linen orders from hospital or facility staff promptly
- Maintain cleanliness in the linen storage and distribution areas, including sweeping, mopping, and organizing spaces
- Handle new linen for processing and align or stage carts for distribution
- Operate in accordance with all safety procedures and universal precautions
- Report customer service or satisfaction issues to management for resolution
- Ensure company equipment is clean, functional, and well-maintained
- Comply with all attendance, uniform, and punctuality requirements
- Remain flexible to perform additional duties as assigned by management
