Linen Distribution Technician - Summary
- Responsible for building, stocking, and maintaining linen carts to ensure par levels are met throughout the facility.
- Contributes to a clean and organized linen room to facilitate efficient operations.
- Responsible for delivering clean linen to various hospital departments and retrieving soiled linen as needed.
- Completes accurate inventory counts and records to maintain supply consistency.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare and organize linen carts according to established standards and par levels.
- Deliver clean linen to designated hospital departments promptly and reliably.
- Pick up soiled linen carts from all assigned floors, ensuring prompt turnaround and cleanliness.
- Take and fulfill linen orders from hospital staff, responding to requests efficiently.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the linen room, including sweeping, mopping, and general upkeep.
- Open new linen packages for processing and ensure proper alignment and staging of carts.
- Assist with other related tasks as required to support the overall linen distribution process.
