Linen Distribution Technician - Summary- Responsible for delivering clean linen and collecting soiled linen throughout healthcare facilities
- Ensures all linen carts are fully stocked, organized, and meet established standards
- Maintains accurate inventory records and communicates effectively with staff and management
- Adheres to company policies, safety procedures, and professional conduct standards
- Build and organize clean linen carts to specified par levels
- Deliver clean linen to hospital departments promptly and efficiently
- Collect soiled linen carts from all floors, especially during second shift assignments
- Take and fulfill linen orders from hospital staff as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of the linen room, including sweeping, mopping, and organizing supplies
- Open new linen shipments for processing and align carts for distribution
- Follow all safety and universal precaution procedures to protect yourself and others
- Report any issues or concerns regarding customer service or linen quality to management
- Keep company equipment clean and well-organized at all times
- Adhere to all Crothall Laundry Services policies and attendance requirements
- Maintain a professional, courteous attitude when interacting with staff and patients
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the overall linen distribution operations
