Linen Distribution Technician - Summary- Responsible for distributing clean linen and collecting soiled items throughout the hospital facility.
- Maintains organization and cleanliness in the linen room, ensuring compliance with hospital standards.
- Works full-time hours and may have a variable schedule.

- Deliver clean linen to various hospital departments as scheduled.
- Pick up soiled carts from all floors, particularly during second shift.
- Take and fill linen orders from hospital staff promptly and accurately.
- Ensure all exchange carts are delivered and properly stocked to meet standard par levels.
- Collect soiled linen and transport to the receiving dock as per protocol.
- Consolidate soil carts when necessary to maximize efficiency.
- Report any issues or concerns to the supervisor immediately.
- Keep the linen room neat, organized, and clean at the end of each shift.
- Build clean, organized carts and stage them as required for distribution.
- Perform basic cleaning tasks including sweeping and mopping as needed.
- Complete other duties as assigned by supervisory staff.
