Linen Distribution Technician - Summary- Responsible for distributing clean linen and collecting soiled linen throughout hospital departments
- Ensures linen carts are fully stocked, clean, and organized
- Maintains accurate inventory records of linen and terry products
- Upholds all company policies, safety procedures, and universal precautions
- Build and organize linen carts to set par levels according to hospital standards
- Deliver clean linen carts to various hospital departments promptly and efficiently
- Pick up soiled linen from all floors, especially during second shift assignments
- Take and fill linen orders requested by hospital staff
- Maintain cleanliness of the linen room, including sweeping, mopping, and organizing as needed
- Open new linen for processing and stage carts as necessary
- Report any customer service or satisfaction concerns immediately
- Follow all safety, hygiene, and company procedures without exception
- Additional tasks as assigned to support hospital linen operations
