Linen Distribution Technician - Summary
- Responsible for the organized distribution and collection of linens throughout the facility.
- Ensures linen carts are fully stocked, clean, and meet set par levels.
- Maintains accurate inventory of terry and linen items.
- Provides essential support to hospital departments by responding to linen requests and fulfilling orders promptly.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Build and organize linen carts to meet standard par levels established by the facility.
- Deliver clean linen to all hospital departments, ensuring timely and efficient service.
- Collect soiled linen carts from all floors, particularly during second shift assignments.
- Process linen requests from hospital staff, ensuring accuracy and professionalism in every interaction.
- Maintain cleanliness in the linen room, including sweeping, mopping, and organizing as needed.
- Assist in opening new linen for processing and align carts for distribution.
- Follow all company policies and safety procedures, including universal precautions and attendance guidelines.
- Maintain a neat appearance and professional, courteous attitude at all times.
- Report any customer service or satisfaction issues to management immediately.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors to support overall linen operations.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Must successfully pass a background check.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and pushing/pulling wheeled carts weighing up to 650 lbs.
- Adherence to attendance policies and punctuality in shift start and end times.
