Key Responsibilities- Develop new business leads, schedule appointments with prospective clients, and assess customer needs to recommend suitable life and health insurance products and services.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through timely and effective follow-up and regular communication.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and courteous service to clients, including handling inquiries related to policy availability, eligibility, coverage options, policy changes, transfers, claims submissions, and billing inquiries.
- Support agency business goals by actively participating in marketing and sales initiatives.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of all offered life and health insurance products and stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.
- Meet or exceed established sales targets and performance metrics as determined by the agency.
- Active WV Life and Health insurance license (required).
- At least 2 years of experience in life and health insurance sales or a closely related field (required).
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales goals or quotas is preferred.
- Prior experience in outside/inside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing is beneficial.
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
- Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Proven ability to multitask and efficiently manage a dynamic workload.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to relate effectively to customers from diverse backgrounds.
