You will interact regularly with analysts, property owners, and internal departments to verify payment statuses, prepare lien waivers and notices, and ensure all required information is entered accurately into proprietary systems such as the NCS website. In addition, the Lien Specialist will manage correspondence regarding lien notices, order supplies, and assist with daily mail and other administrative functions as directed by department leadership.

This position requires a strong understanding of accounts receivable (AR) processes and a foundational knowledge of commercial lien processing. Familiarity with productivity tools such as Microsoft Office is necessary, and experience using specialized platforms like Get Paid, NCS, or SAP will be considered a strong asset. Exceptional customer service skills are essential, as you will be expected to communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring all inquiries and requests are handled promptly and accurately.
