As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), you will be responsible for performing a variety of nursing duties with professionalism and integrity. You will rely on your clinical knowledge and experience to address a wide range of medical conditions, administer treatments and procedures, and support the care team in delivering optimal patient outcomes. Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - Summary
- Provide hands-on nursing care and support to adult and geriatric populations in a hospital or inpatient rehabilitation facility.
- Utilize your LPN/LVN licensure and clinical background to execute nursing assignments of moderate complexity.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams and contribute to a mission-focused, inclusive work environment at a nationally renowned medical center.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Apply comprehensive knowledge of various medical disorders, diagnostic procedures, and treatments relevant to adult healthcare.
- Implement professional care theories, principles, and procedures to perform nursing assessments and interventions.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including surgical interventions, and assist in clinic-specific tasks as per policies and guidelines.
- Supervise paraprofessional staff involved in patient care, ensuring adherence to best practices and safety protocols.
- Operate, set up, and monitor specialized medical equipment, such as IV infusion pumps, cardiac monitors, EKG units, oxygen analyzers, and nebulizers.
- Document patient care activities accurately and honestly, and maintain proficiency in computer operations and electronic health records.
- Demonstrate professionalism in all interactions, seek constructive feedback, and actively participate in team-based care delivery.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma of LPN or LVN from a National League of Nursing (NLN)-accredited program.
- Unrestricted, valid LPN/LVN license in at least one U.S. state, territory, or commonwealth.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Minimum of one year as a Licensed Practical Nurse prior to beginning work in the facility.
- Experience in an acute care hospital or inpatient rehabilitation facility is mandatory.
