Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - Summary
- Deliver direct patient care and support to adult and geriatric populations as part of a multi-disciplinary healthcare team.
- Work flexible night shifts in a full-time, dynamic clinical environment dedicated to serving military service members, veterans, and their families.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and assist with preparation for treatments, procedures, and surgical interventions.
- Apply the nursing process to deliver professional, evidence-based nursing care in accordance with established medical standards and protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to ensure continuity and quality of patient care.
- Supervise and provide guidance to paraprofessional staff involved in patient care activities.
- Operate and monitor specialized medical equipment such as IV infusion pumps, cardiac monitors, EKG units, oxygen analyzers, and nebulizers.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, work hours, and leave requests.
- Demonstrate professionalism, ethical conduct, and effective communication in interactions with patients, families, and team members.
- Utilize computer systems for data entry, medical recordkeeping, and word processing as required.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and respond constructively to feedback from supervisors and colleagues.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma from an accredited National League of Nursing (NLN) approved LPN or LVN program.
- Current, unrestricted LPN or LVN license in at least one U.S. state, territory, or commonwealth.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of one year of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse prior to start date.
- Experience in an acute care hospital, inpatient rehabilitation facility, or similar clinical setting.
