Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - Summary
- Deliver patient-centered nursing care in an acute care or inpatient rehabilitation environment
- Support interdisciplinary healthcare teams by performing clinical and administrative duties
- Utilize nursing knowledge, clinical skills, and technology to enhance patient outcomes
Duties & Responsibilities
- Apply comprehensive knowledge of medical disorders, diagnoses, and treatments relevant to adult and geriatric patient populations
- Demonstrate proficiency in performing patient assessments, preparing patients for procedures, and assisting with treatments, including surgical interventions
- Utilize professional nursing theories, principles, practices, and procedures to deliver care of moderate complexity
- Monitor and operate specialized medical equipment such as IV infusion pumps, cardiac monitors, EKG units, oxygen analyzers, nebulizers, and other clinic-specific devices
- Document care accurately and maintain electronic medical records using basic word processing and data entry systems
- Supervise and guide paraprofessionals involved in patient care, ensuring adherence to clinical policies and safety guidelines
- Foster professionalism by collaborating effectively with team members, accepting feedback, and demonstrating honesty in all documentation
- Maintain compliance with established protocols, facility policies, and regulatory standards
- Employ the nursing process for evaluating, planning, and implementing patient care plans
Salary & Benefits
- Compensation is compliant with all applicable Federal or State regulations, including Service Contract Act (SCA) Area Wage Determination guidelines
- Hourly rate: $36.00 per hour, as outlined by prevailing wage standards

Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) from an accredited National League of Nursing (NLN) approved program
- Current, valid, and unrestricted LPN/LVN license in at least one U.S. state, territory, or commonwealth
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of one year of continuous employment as an LPN or LVN within the year preceding the start date
- Experience in an acute care hospital or inpatient rehabilitation facility/center required
