Licensed Insurance Sales Representative - Summary
- Serve as the first point of contact for prospective and existing insurance clients.
- Leverage your Property and Casualty license (and, if applicable, Life and Health license) to guide clients in selecting the best insurance solutions.
- Drive agency growth through proactive sales, relationship building, and effective customer service.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and manage leads to expand the agency’s client base.
- Schedule and conduct appointments with clients to assess their insurance requirements.
- Present and market appropriate insurance products and services tailored to individual client needs.
- Build long-lasting customer relationships, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and retention.
- Follow up with clients as needed to address questions, provide policy information, and assist with changes or claims.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service at every interaction.
- Respond to inquiries regarding insurance coverage, eligibility, policy changes, billing, and claims submissions.
- Maintain thorough documentation of all sales activities and client communications.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Active Property and Casualty insurance license required.
- Life & Health license preferred.
- Prior insurance sales experience preferred (Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health lines).
- Sales experience in outside sales, inside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing is a plus.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals is desirable.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to listen actively and relate to clients.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with a diverse customer base.
- Must be able to work on-site in Athens, TN.
