Licensed Insurance Sales Agent (P&C) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Engage in lead conversation and new account acquisition
- Manage a pipeline of provided sales opportunities
- Implement innovative sales strategies
- Demonstrate proficiency with carrier products, appetites, and underwriting guidelines
- Utilize agency systems and technology effectively
- Develop and self-generate additional lead opportunities
- Intake applications, produce quotes, present proposals, and close business
- Issue new client accounts with respective insurance carriers
- Transition new business files to the onboarding team
- Provide backup support for new client onboarding
- Satisfy underwriting stipulations associated with new accounts
- Assist with training and onboarding of new sales consultants
- Add new lines of business to existing client accounts
- Support account renewals and policy re-writes
- Deliver high-quality service, distinct from call center environments

- Base salary with routine performance reviews for increases
- 80% new business commission on new account acquisition and new lines added to current accounts
- 50% renewal commission on entire renewal premium base after reaching threshold

Qualifications & Requirements
- Active Property and Casualty Producer License
- Minimum two years of experience in personal lines insurance markets
