The Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative plays a vital role in supporting an independent State Farm Agent by delivering outstanding service to clients and ensuring their insurance needs are met in a professional and efficient manner. This full-time position is ideal for motivated, licensed professionals who are passionate about customer service and eager to help individuals and families protect what matters most to them. Working as a Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative, you will engage directly with policyholders, address their inquiries, and help them understand their insurance options.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain positive customer relationships while following up as needed to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service by responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverage options, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing questions.
- Educate customers about insurance products and services using a needs-based review process, helping clients make informed decisions about their coverage.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to success, contributing to the overall growth and success of the agency every day.
- Generate thorough and timely activity reports for the agent to ensure accurate tracking of client interactions and service outcomes.
- Stay current on product changes, licensing requirements, technical developments, and ongoing education to provide expert guidance to clients.
Qualifications
- Active Property & Casualty license required.
- Active Life and Health insurance license preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to listen, write, and speak effectively.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and proactive in problem solving, with a dedication to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and to multi-task efficiently.
