The Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative plays an integral role in delivering outstanding service and support to clients within a reputable insurance agency. As a vital member of the team, this position requires an active Property and Casualty license, with preference given to candidates also holding a Life & Health license. Key Responsibilities
- Establish and nurture strong customer relationships through proactive and ongoing communication.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding insurance products, policy availability, eligibility, coverage options, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing matters.
- Deliver exceptional and friendly customer service tailored to meet the individual needs of each client.
- Utilize a customer-focused, needs-based review process to inform and educate clients about available insurance solutions.
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism and work ethic, demonstrating commitment to customer satisfaction and agency success.
- Provide thorough and timely activity reports to the supervising agent, ensuring transparency and effective workflow management.
- Stay current with product updates, licensing requirements, technical developments, and continuing education to maintain compliance and enhance expertise.
Required Qualifications
- Active Property & Casualty license in Missouri or Kansas.
- Active Life & Health license in Missouri or Kansas is preferred.
- Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a team environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
