Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative Position Overview
The Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative (CSR) plays a critical role in supporting both clients and agents within an insurance agency environment. As a Licensed Insurance CSR, you will leverage your expertise to deliver exceptional customer service, build strong relationships, and contribute to the growth and success of the team. This full-time position is ideal for individuals who are proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to providing a remarkable customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and nurture relationships with clients by providing timely and accurate support for their insurance needs.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverage options, policy updates, transfers, claims, and billing matters.
- Educate customers about insurance products and services using a customer-focused, needs-based review process.
- Ensure high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction through clear communication and attention to detail.
- Maintain a strong work ethic and demonstrate a commitment to achieving daily and long-term goals.
- Provide timely and thorough activity reports to the agent to keep all team members informed and aligned.
- Stay up-to-date on product changes, licensing requirements, technical advancements, and continuing education opportunities relevant to the insurance industry.
Qualifications
- Active Property & Casualty license is required prior to start date.
- Life and Health insurance license preferred.
- Previous experience with State Farm systems is advantageous but not required.
- Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal, written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and capacity to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, people-oriented, and proactive in problem solving.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently as needed.
- Comfortable learning and using computer functions for daily tasks.
- Demonstrates pride in accuracy and timeliness of work deliverables.
