Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and licensed insurance customer service representative to join a State Farm agent's team on a full-time basis. This role is ideal for individuals who are self-motivated and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. As a licensed insurance customer service representative, you will play a key role in fostering strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional service, and supporting the growth of the agency through effective communication and sales activities.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain customer relationships, ensuring regular follow-up and proactive communication to address client needs and concerns.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and courteous customer service by responding to inquiries about insurance availability, eligibility, coverage options, policy changes, transfers, claims processing, and billing questions.
- Utilize a customer-focused, needs-based approach to educate customers on various insurance products and services, helping them make informed decisions that best suit their individual needs.
- Consistently demonstrate a strong work ethic with a commitment to achieving daily and long-term agency goals.
- Prepare timely and thorough activity reports for the agent, supporting ongoing agency operations and compliance requirements.
- Stay informed about product changes, licensing requirements, technical advancements, and participate in continuing education as required.
Qualifications
- Active Property & Casualty license (required).
- Active Life and Health license (required).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening abilities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to solve problems efficiently.
- Dedication to delivering outstanding customer service and building long-term client relationships.
- Proven ability to learn and adapt to new computer functions and office technologies.
