Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative - Summary
As a Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative, you will play a vital role in supporting agency operations by delivering top-notch customer service, assisting with policy management, and contributing to retention activities. Your expertise in State Farm systems, particularly ECRM, will ensure smooth, accurate, and efficient service for our valued clients. You will be a key contact for policyholders, addressing their inquiries, processing payments, and providing guidance during the claims process.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service to all policyholders, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and empathy.
- Process premium payments and handle policy service requests efficiently and accurately.
- Manage BOD (Book of Business) tasks, including diligent follow-up on past due accounts to support retention efforts.
- Provide claim concierge support, assisting clients throughout the claims process for a seamless experience.
- Assist with policy updates, endorsements, and changes to ensure up-to-date and accurate records.
- Maintain thorough and current policyholder information within the State Farm ECRM system.
- Support retention campaigns and participate in light sales activities as directed.
- Ensure timely and proactive follow-up with clients to maintain high customer communication standards.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of direct, hands-on experience working in a State Farm agency is required.
- Active California Property & Casualty License is mandatory.
- Active California Life License is required.
- Comprehensive familiarity with State Farm ECRM and agency systems is essential.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively and provide superior customer service.
- Highly reliable, trustworthy, and capable of operating independently in a remote environment.
- Licensing in additional states such as Arizona, Nevada, or Oregon is a plus and will be considered favorably.
